About Institute

From a small seed sown, 4 decades ago the institution has risen to a big tree, all through relentless efforts of its founders members, qualified faculties and students, who have left no stone unturned to bring laurels, trophies and citations in the field of education.

With humble beginnings in 1978, Guru Gobind Singh Foundation was formed by prominent and illustrious Sikh residents of Nasik, as worthy followers of the great saint soldier “Guru Gobind Singh”. The foundation set upon itself the aim of imparting high quality education with culture activities, ethics and social commitment to students.

Located in 12 acres Guru Gobind Singh Foundation houses 3 Institutes, Guru Gobind Singh Public School, Guru Gobind Singh Polytechnic and Guru Gobind Singh College of Engineering & Research Centre with Ultra-Modern Infrastructure and Green Campus.

All Institutes are equipped with state and art Laboratories for Students to the pursuit of educational and creative activities for overall development of the personality.

Guru Gobind Singh College of Engineering and Research Centre, Nashik is one of the best upcoming technical institutions under the Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune offering four years degree courses in Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering incepted by the foundation in the year 2013-14. It has very strong Industry Institute Partnership Cell for skilling the students on various value addition courses in association with industries like Siemens India and Bosch.

It is my honor to welcome you to the website of Guru Gobind Singh Foundation’s Guru Gobind Singh College of Engineering and Research Centre, Nashik established in 2013, with an objective of providing quality education. Institute is striving for excellence in providing scientific and technical education by providing state of the art facilities and infrastructure. Being located inside Foundation’s Khalsa Educational Complex on Wadala-Pathardi Road,Indira Nagar Annexe,the Institute is easily accessible from all corners of Nashik with Amabad and Satpur industrial belt in near vicinity.

The highly qualified members of the management, most of them are successful entrepreneur with industrial background is the prominent feature of this institute. They are the major source of inspiration to all of us to make this institute one of the best institutions in the field of technical education.

We are working with clear vision of making students from our Institute capable of meeting requirement of the industries with social commitment. For this beside academics, we lay great emphasis on all round development of students by qualified faculty, experts and professional trainers. Students are given additional exposure through industrial visits, seminars, training sessions, community visits and competitions. To upgrade the skills of students as per industry requirement we are starting Skill Development Centre in collaboration with Bosch and Siemens.

PERSPECTIVE / STRATEGIC / DEVELOPMENT PLAN 2018-19 to 2022-23

The institution has developed a strategic plan for the overall development of the institution. The strategic plan encompass all aspects of growth which includes augment of state of art infrastructure, faculty development, students employability related training. These are stated as Perspective/Strategic/Development Plan as below,
