  • Electrical Engineering department of Guru Gobind Singh College of Engineering and Research Centre, Nashik was established in the year 2013 with intake of 60 students at UG level. The department aims to produce high quality technical manpower to fulfill the needs of coming electrical scenario. The department works on fundamental principles, deep understanding and ability to work in coordination.
  • The department aims at development of creative ability to handle the challenges and the capacity to adapt and solve problems of interdisciplinary nature. The department also encourages the students to engage themselves in various extracurricular and co-curricular activities. The department is unique programmed and look forward towards students to improve their overall personality and to induct the spirit of team work, leadership and organizational skills essential to build a successful carrier.
  • The department is headed by Mrs. S. P. Sonar. The department is having high qualified staff and with well furnished laboratories.

Program Educational Objectives (PEO):

  1. Graduates will have fundamental and broad knowledge in Electrical Engineering relating to industrial applications and research to design, analyze and synthesize information from various sources.
  2. Graduates will become entrepreneurs, employees of different organizations, pursue higher studies and research for developing advanced skills in Electrical Engineering
  3. Graduates will exhibit technical and intellectual competency and will be willing for life-long learning
  4. Graduates will demonstrate technical knowledge to work in multi-disciplinary environment with ethical values for professional development to meet real time problems with social needs.

Programme Outcomes (POs):

  1. Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, Electrical Engineering fundamentals to get the solution for different engineering problems.
  2. Problem analysis: Identify, formulate and analyze different Electrical Engineering problems and reaching sustained conclusion using the principle of mathematics, natural sciences and engineering fundamentals.
  3. Design development of solutions: Design the solutions for different electrical engineering problems, components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate considerations & social aspects.
