Civil Engineering encompass a wide spectrum of activities ranging from construction of major and minor civil engineering structures to protecting and developing environment friendly place to live. Acquiring the state-of-art-the-knowledge of Civil Engineering is an important step in this direction.

The Department of Civil Engineering was established in the year 2013 with a vision to produce highly employable civil engineering graduate contributing to industry and societal needs. The department offers UG Programme in Civil Engineering and is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU).

Lead by a team of qualified and dynamic faculties, the department nurtures in students, a deep knowledge of civil engineering field through curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Majority of faculty possess a blend of academic excellence and industrial experience, which is instrumental in imparting the right blend of theoretical and practical knowledge to the students. The department also places emphasis on inculcating in students with required ethical values, integrity, social responsibility and technical skills necessary for excellencing in the field of civil engineering. Excellent state of art infra-structure is made available to cater to the need of academics, consultancy and research. The construction laboratory and plumbing laboratory is established to train the students with current developments in the civil engineering field.The Department regularly organizes guest lectures, seminars, International Conference, Webinar, Industrial visits, Technical Events and Workshops by distinguished personalities from the research field and industry. Domain based technical training on software’s like AUTOCAD, STAAD PRO QGIS and ETABS is arranged for students. Civil Engineering Student Association (CESA) is a student platform where students exhibit their inherent talents through co-curricular and extra-curricular activities leading to students excelling in various competitions
