Academic Standards

1. 1. A minimum of 75% attendance is expected, in each semester, necessarily to enable a student perform better in the University examination.
   2. Students who absent themselves without permission will be deemed to have been absent for 2 days.
   3. Continuous absence from class on medical grounds will be permitted only on production of medical certificate and letter from parent.
   4. Continual monitoring of student’s Attendance and Progress is undertaken.
   1. Cell phone is strictly prohibited inside the campus.
   2. Students are required to be regular and punctual to the classes.
   3. All student should wear the appropriate uniforms that are stipulated while attending the practical and workshop classes.
   4. Tee shirts,Jeans and other casuals are strictly prohibited in the campus during normal working hours.
   5. All student should wear clean and appropriate dress.
   6. Any student found indulging in malpractice in the Test/Model exams/University exams will be debarred from appearing for the rest of the examinations.
   7. Regularity in writing the test and satisfactory performance of students in test are essential to permit the students to appear for the University examination at the end of the year.
   8. The Uniform is compulsory for all students to bring about a spirit of unity and discipline.
   1. Students should be seated in the lecture halls 5 minutes before the commencement of the class.
   2. Students should maintain perfect order and strict silence inside the lecture/drawing halls/labs/workshop at all times.
   3. Movement outside the classroom during lectures should be minimum and for valid reasons only.
   4. Record of experiments done in a particular class should be submitted in the next laboratory class.
   5. Students should attend all tests and show good academic progress.
   6. Students are encouraged to take part in sports, cultural activities, debates, competitions etc to develop all round personality.
   7. We have well- equipped and well-maintained Laboratories for all the courses.
   8. Industrial visits, seminars, workshops, guest lectures etc. are arranged on regular basis.
   9. Absence in regular classes will be strictly observed and absenteeism in the test will be viewed with at most sternness.
   10. Sponsored Scholarships are provided to the needy and meritorious students.
   11. Vocational guidance and career counseling is provided.
   12. Placements through Campus interviews are arranged.
   13. Students are provided with Wi-Fi Internet Facility.
   14. We have qualified, experienced and dedicated staff.
   15. Mock Tests are conducted just before the Final Exam, to give a feel of the University of Pune Exam ahead.
   16. The Class-teacher concept has been retained to provide for additional venue for close student-teacher interaction.
   17. Spacious and Airy Class rooms with LCD projector, Corridors, Staircases etc with a pollution free atmosphere.>
   18. Apart from technical skills, students are also prepared early on their Communication Skills, Presentation Skills, Personality Traits, Mental & Physical Courage etc. through regular Seminars, Workshop, Debates, Competitions etc.
